Ha n'eo ket  hi hepken, ni ivez ha goude ma perc'hennomp frouezh kentañ ar Spered, a vez hon-unan oc'h hirvoudiñ en hon diabarzh en ur c'hortoz an advaberezh hag ar c'houlz ma vo dieubet hor c'horfoù.

Armead an neñvoù, dre c'hezhadenn e c'henou e voe krouet an neñvoù.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

A l'office du matin, j'ai écouté la lecture de la lettre de saint Paul aux Romains, chapître 8.

Car j'estime que les souffrances du temps présent sont sans porportion avec la gloire à venir qui sera manisfestée en nous. Aussi la création attend-elle avec un ardent désir la manifestation des enfants de Dieu. La création, en effet, a été assujettie à la vanité, - non de son gré, mais par la volonté de celui qui l'y a soumise, - avec l'espérance qu'elle aussi sera affranchie de la servitude de la corruption, pour avoir part à la liberté glorieuse des enfants de Dieu. Car nous savons que, jusqu'à ce jour, la création tout entière gémit et souffre les douleurs de l'enfantement.
